What Vitamins C and E can do for your skin!

Vitamin C is a skin care champion. It is essential in the production of collagen, it stimulates the reproduction of skin cells and it helps fight free-radical damage. Collagen is important because it aids in the growth of cells and it keeps your skin firm.

The way vitamin C is able to combat free-radical damage because it is also an antioxidant. Antioxidants neutralize the cell depleting effect of free radicals, which are molecules that damage collagen and cause dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin E is a skin care heavy weight. It is one of the most powerful antioxidants, but your body can’t produce it. That means that in order to help your skin maintain is youthfulness, you’ll need to be sure your body gets a good amount of vitamin E.
