How SkinPen® Microneedling Works

Microneedling with PRP initiates the skin’s repair process to naturally produce collagen and elastin, which will smooth fine lines, wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. The channels created by this treatment allow for optimal absorption of topical products and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), to enhance and nourish the deeper layers of the skin.

Results

After a Microneedling with PRP treatment with Renee Hinojosa at the Age Management Institute, patients typically will have noticeable redness of the skin for twenty-four hours. This redness will gradually fade over the next forty-eight hours. Visible improvement of the skin will appear in about two to four weeks. Optimal results are noted after doing a series of three treatments spaced about six to eight weeks apart.
