Renee Hinojosa Earns Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification From ANCC

We are pleased to announce Renee Hinojosa MSN, RN, APRN, ACNS-BC, CANS, CPSN, has received official Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

ANCC Certification is the formal process that validates a nurse’s knowledge, skills and abilities in a defined role and clinical area of practice. Nurses achieve certification credentials though specialized education, experience in a specialty area and a qualifying exam.

In addition to her most recent ANCC certification, Hinojosa has received both her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) and Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse (CPSN) certification. Hinojosa received her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and also works as a clinical instructor for Aesthetic Advancements, Inc., where she teaches injectable treatment methods to physicians and nurses throughout the nation.

“Continuing my education and commitment to my practice has always been a priority for me,” said Hinojosa. “I look forward to providing this value to my clients and students.”

Hinojosa is the Director of Medical Aesthetics at the Age Management Institute in Reno, Nev. She specializes in injectable treatments which include: BOTOX®, Dysport, Xeomin, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus, Voluma, Radiesse, Belotero as well as chemical peels, micro-needling, PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatments, laser treatments and skin depigmentation treatments.
