Reach your fitness goals in time for summer!

It’s spring! That means it’s time to fight back against the weight gained last winter before summer. Easier said than done, right? We’re all busy and there are a hundred distractions that keep us from our fitness goals. That’s why the Reno Age Management Institute has designed a program to assist you in achieving your goals in record time.

Our Accelerated Weight Loss Program is a medically supervised plan that uses a naturally produced hormone known as HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) to assist with the dieting process. HCG is reputed to facilitate weight loss in both men and women and to reduce appetite, eliminate cravings for sweets, increase metabolism, increase libido, and prevent the body from burning lean muscle as fuel. It is believed that HCG targets a type of fat that is not effectively eliminated through conventional weight loss programs.

The benefits of this specialized program will get you on your way to feeling younger and more in shape for the summer. And when you’re ready to get back to exercise, we’ve compiled a few tips to help guide you to an easier and more effective transformation.

1.   Warm Up. The longer you’ve been away from the gym, the more flexibility and stamina you body looses. So it’s important to perform a longer warm-up when you return to your work out. Here’s some good ways to warm up.

  • Perform 5 or 10 minutes of stretching your major muscle groups.
  • Walk for 15 to 20 minutes on the treadmill, slowly increasing the pace as you go.
  • To prepare your body for heavier lifting, select about 50% of your starting weight and perform 8 to 10 slow, easy repetitions.

2.   Take it Easy. Your body will not be able to lift that much weight on your first time picking up your work out. The best thing to do is start out with lighter weights. You will also want to avoid too many weightlifting workouts per week. Recovery and muscle growth takes time. Three weight lifting workouts per week is plenty to begin with.

3.   Track your workouts. The best way to build muscle is to increase your weight or repetitions with each work out. So take a moment to write down the weights, sets and reps you performed on each exercise. Then challenge yourself to beat those numbers.

4.   Take time to cool down. Set aside 10 minutes at the end of your work out to cool down at a slow pace on the treadmill. Use this time to associate the resulting positive and invigorated feeling with going to the gym and doing your workout. For many of us, this can combat the apprehension we connect with exercise.

With the help of the Age Management Institute’s Accelerated Weight Loss Program and work out tips, you’ll be ready to enjoy the coming summer in no time!
