COVID-19 (novel coronavirus)
Washoe County Health District (WCHD) has received a presumptive positive case of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). The public is concerned about the risks of COVID-19 and many are wanting testing. The public is being instructed to call health care providers or the Health District and NOT to physically travel to a health facility.
Age Management Institute is recommended to screen symptoms by phone. For patients who have symptoms such as fever, cough, difficulty breathing or a severe respiratory illness, PLEASECALL our office to talk to one of our staff BEFORE entering the building. Congestion is NOT a symptom of COVID-19, but we ask that all sick patients refrain from entering our office.
The WCHD has asked our office to refer patients to WCHD’s call center at 775-328-2427 if they are concerned about COVID-19. This phone number will be answered Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
WCHD is making these recommendations in order to protect health care providers and to avoid self-quarantine for medical doctors and their staff.
Please call our office with any questions, 775-787-8300
