Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is the science of replenishing hormones that are no longer being adequately produced by the body. Symptoms of aging is caused by deficiencies in many of the hormones that our bodies produced in abundance during our youth.

A person does not need to consider Hormone Replacement Therapy until their body begins to lower its hormone production. For most people, age 35 is a good age to have your levels checked, because that is when levels usually begin to drop.

While this varies with each individual, many people feel changes within just a few days, some within a couple of weeks. Most people, however, can expect to see significant results within 4 to 6 weeks after starting a program.

Before entering an Age Management Institute program, individuals are prescribed a full hormone panel. When the blood work comes back to our office, our staff will call you to make an appointment with Dr. Gunderson to discuss the results and see if you are a candidate for Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Age Management Institute does not accept insurance for our services. However, your lab work may be covered under your insurance. You will need to check with your insurance provider.
